Course Aim
The course follows the college of policing victim liaison officerÃs role objectives. Through the use of audio-visual material, case studies and interactive sessions MAGE will provide you with an understanding of modern slavery and human trafficking to enable you to respond appropriately to potential victims. The course will enable you to identify potential victims of modern slavery and human trafficking, respond immediately to their needs in line with formal procedures, gather all available material to support an investigation, and to act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for a victim of modern slavery and human trafficking until an exit strategy is agreed.

- To explain legislation under the Modern Slavery Act.
- To describe the various ways victimÃs present and why.
